Agent Reliability Review
The Agent Reliability Review is a fixed-price test of one AI agent stuck in pilot: $12,500 over 4 weeks. Modeo builds a test suite from up to 200 of your traces, delivers the first failure list on day 5, has the suite running in your CI by week 3, and ends in week 4 with a pass rate and a written go or no-go that estimates every fix.

Who is the Review for?
The VP of Engineering or head of AI at a US company of 200 to 2,000 people whose agent works in demos, while nobody can say how often it fails on real traffic or why. The Review gives that person a number and a decision for the next leadership review.
Teams with no agent yet start with the AI Opportunity Assessment instead.
What do you get, and when?
Every deliverable is delivered whatever the verdict, and your team keeps the test suite.
- Day 5: a failure list from your first 50 traces, with a count for each failure mode
- Week 3: every failure mode reproduced as a runnable test, built from up to 200 of your traces, running in your own CI
- Week 4: the pass rate, the failure taxonomy, and a 2-page decision memo with every fix estimated, reviewed with your team in 30 minutes
- 30 days after your fixes: one re-run of the suite and the new pass rate
How does the Review compare with building evals in-house or buying an eval platform?
In-house: two engineers spending 20 hours a week for 4 weeks cost about $32,000 at a $200 hourly contract rate, and the work competes with the roadmap. The Review is $12,500 and ends with the same suite in your CI plus a decision memo.
Eval platforms are software your team configures and runs. The Review delivers the test cases themselves, written from your own traces, and a go or no-go. The suite can run alongside a platform your team already uses.
What does the method look like on a real agent?
Modeo ran it on FamilyCheck, the voice agent it built and operates. Across three runs of identical code on 2026-08-04, the 53-scenario suite passed a median of 88% (range 86% to 90%), surfaced six failure modes, and led to a conditional go: one safety fix before adding patients. The sample report shows the format a client receives.
What is not included?
The fixes themselves, which are quoted separately; uptime SLAs; and healthcare data covered by HIPAA. Work outside the Review's scope is billed by written change order at $225 an hour.
Agent Reliability Review: questions
What does Modeo need from us to start the Review?
A mutual NDA, read access to traces or transcripts from the agent, one 45-minute kickoff, and two 30-minute reviews. Modeo writes every test.
What happens if the Review's verdict is no-go?
You receive every deliverable: the failure taxonomy, the test suite in your CI, and the decision memo with each fix estimated. A no-go tells you what it would take to reach production, so the decision is made on measured results.
Which agents can the Review test?
Any agent whose traces or transcripts you can export, including voice agents. The Review covers one agent and one workflow; a second agent starts as a new Review.
